I started playing guitar when I was nine. I used to always pick up my Dad's guitar and strum, pretending I could play. I would sing something along with the notes...
One day after putting the guitar away, I overheard my mother say to my father, "If you taught him a few chords, he might actually learn how to play that thing." I ran back in and got the guitar back out, and my Dad came around the corner - taught me a few chords... and that's where it all started.
The Lord laid it on my heart to share with others the changes He has made in my life. When I was asked if I would share my testimony, I was surprised, but then, not so surprised since I had already been receiving conviction from the Lord to give witness to His mighty power. The year was 1990 and a whirlwind of promises kept as I became a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) and began to sing a new song of praise to our God (Psalm 40:1-3).
